fujoshi interlude –
call of the NIGHT HEAD
(this is the first entry in a series discussing night head and its female fanbase)
In his book George Iida Talks About NIGHT HEAD, the creator of the series mentions not really being able to get a sense of how audiences were reacting to the show as it aired. However, this all changed by chapter 25:
“It was after the turn of the year that a buzz of activity began to stir around NIGHT HEAD … Suddenly, several doujinshi (self-published fan works) arrived at Kyodo Television …”
